PGPD Investigating Fatal Motorcycle Collision in College Park

The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred early June in College Park. The deceased driver is 19-year-old Fernando Gonzalez y Gonzales of Beltsville. 

On June 3, 2022, at approximately 8:45 pm, officers responded to Cherry Hill Road and Park Drive for a collision involving a motorcycle and a car. The preliminary investigation reveals Gonzalez y Gonzales was travelling westbound on Cherry Hill Road when a vehicle made a u-turn into his path causing a collision. The driver and passengers in the involved vehicle remained on the scene and were not injured. Gonzalez y Gonzales was transported to the hospital where he later died of his injuries on June 12, 2022.

PGPD Investiga Mortal Choque de Motocicleta en College Park

La Unidad de Análisis y Reconstrucción de Choques investiga un mortal choque de motocicleta que se registró a principios de junio en College Park. El fenecido conductor fue identificado como Fernando Gonzalez y Gonzales, de 19 años y vecino de Beltsville.

El 3 de junio de 2022, a eso de las 8:45 pm, oficiales acudieron al área entre Cherry Hill Road y Park Drive para atender un choque entre un auto y una motocicleta.
