The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is working to identify and arrest the suspect(s) who fatally shot a man Sunday night. The victim is 18-year-old Kaden Askew of Suitland. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On
May 28, 2023, at approximately 9:55 pm, officers with Maryland-National Capital Park Police responded to the 6100 block of Summerhill Road for the report of a
shooting. Once on scene, they located the victim outside suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the
scene.
Detectives
are working to identify a suspect(s) and a motive.
