The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit charged a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting on Monday. The suspect is 18-year-old Eu’nyus Maddox of Largo. He’s charged with fatally shooting 36-year-old Levelle Mills of Largo.
On August 31, 2026, at approximately 12:05 pm, officers responded to the 500 block of Mt Lubentia Court East for the report of a shooting. The officers located the victim outside of the residence suffering from a gunshot wound. Mills was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later. Maddox was taken into custody at the scene.
The preliminary investigation revealed Maddox shot Mills during an argument. Maddox and Mills are known to each other and live in the same residence.
Maddox is charged with second degree murder and related charges. He is in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.
