PGPD Investigates Fatal Shooting

Prince George’s County Police Department Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday evening in the unincorporated section of District Heights. The victim is 20-year-old Tyler Fludd of Hyattsville. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On February 2, 2025, at approximately 5:20 pm, officers responded to a reported shooting in the 5400 block of Silver Hill Road. Officers located Fludd outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he died a short time later. 

Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s).

PGPD Investiga Tiroteo Fatal 

Detectives de la Unidad de Homicidios del Departamento de Policía del Condado de Prince George están investigando un tiroteo fatal que ocurrió el domingo por la noche en la sección no incorporada de District Heights. La víctima es Tyler Fludd, de 20 años, de Hyattsville. Se ofrece una recompensa de hasta 25,000 dólares por información que conduzca a un arresto y acusación en este caso.

 
El 2 de febrero de 2025, aproximadamente a las 5:20 p.m., los oficiales respondieron a un tiroteo reportado en la cuadra 5400 de Silver Hill Road. Los oficiales localizaron a Fludd afuera sufriendo heridas de bala. Fue trasladado al hospital donde murió poco tiempo después.
