Man Dies of Injuries from Collision

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a now fatal collision involving a scooter that occurred in October of 2024 in the city of Greenbelt. The deceased scooter operator is 19-year-old Timarr Godette of Greenbelt. The PGPD was notified he has died of his injuries earlier this month.

On October 13, 2024, at approximately 7:05 pm, officers responded to the area of Crescent Road and Greenhill Road for a collision.

The preliminary investigation revealed a driver struck Godette while he was operating a scooter in the bicycle lane of Crescent Road. He was transported to a hospital with critical injuries where he died on March 2, 2025.
