The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit has assumed the investigation into a now fatal stabbing that occurred in Oxon Hill. The victim is 36-year-old Eric Levi Ventura of Fort Washington. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On September 8, 2025, at approximately 7:40 am, officers responded to the 300 block of Bentwood Drive for the report of an unresponsive person. Once on scene, officers located the victim outside suffering from trauma. He was transported to a hospital where he died on September 11, 2025.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s).
