Detectives with the Homicide Unit are investigating a recent fatal stabbing in Suitland. The victim is 17-year-old Amari Clarke of Suitland. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On May 8, 2026, at approximately 12:20 pm, officers responded to the 3800 block of St. Barnabas Road. Clarke was located suffering from a stab wound(s). He died a short time later at a hospital.
Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and determine a motive. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.
