Suspects Wanted in Armed Robbery in Suitland

     The Prince George’s County Police Department's Robbery Unit is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspects shown in these surveillance photographs. On February 15th 2012, at approximately 3:00 p.m. the suspects committed an armed robbery at the State Cleaners located in the 4600 block of Suitland Road in Suitland, Maryland. One of the suspects was seen wearing a distinct jacket. The jacket is believed to be a “Polo” brand jacket with logo’s on the front and back. The jacket is black with red stripes down the sleeves.

WANTED: Identity of Suspect Sought in Attempt Armed Robbery of CITGO in Upper Marlboro

The Prince George’s County Police Department is working to identify the suspect shown in the above surveillance photograph. On February 12th, 2012, at approximately 7:29 p.m., the suspect attempted to committ an armed robbery at the CITGO Gas Station, located at 7538 Crain Highway SW in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

Police Make Arrest in Non-Fatal Shooting on 85th Avenue

     Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department’s District I Investigative Section has arrested 19 year-old Antione Freeman in connection with a non-fatal shooting that occurred in New Carrollton, Maryland.


     On February 10, 2012 at approximately 7:40 p.m., New Carrollton police officers were monitoring a memorial vigil in the 5200 block of 85th Avenue regarding the February 6, 2012 murder of Chris Smith. A gunshot was heard and the crowd began to rapidly disperse. An adult male was located suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. That victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

     Detectives developed Freeman as the suspect during the course of their investigation. An arrest warrant was obtained for Freeman charging him with attempted first degree murder. He was arrested on February 11, 2012 without incident. Freeman, a resident of the 7100 block of Webster Street in Landover Hills, was remanded to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections on a no bond status.
