The Prince George’s County Police Department has arrested two suspects wanted in connection with the murder of Dalonte Allen Jackson of Eagle Head Drive in Fort Washington. The suspects are identified as 22-year-old Alex Micah Marshall of 24th Street in Northeast Washington and 19-year-old Dominick Payne of 6th Street in Southeast Washington.
On December 2, 2013, at about 3:00 am, patrol officers were called to the 3200 block of Walters Lane in Forestville for a shooting. When they arrived, they found Jackson suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead a short time later at a hospital.
The preliminary investigation reveals this was a targeted shooting stemming from a drug-related robbery.
Payne was arrested on December 2, 2013, near the scene of the shooting. He’s charged with first and second degree murder. Payne is in custody at the Department of Corrections on a no bond status. Marshall was arrested on December 3, 2013, in the 4900 block of Sheriff Road in Northeast Washington. He’s also charged with first and second degree murder. He’s awaiting extradition to Prince George’s County.
