PGPD Investigates Homicide in Forestville

Updated December 2, 2013: The victim is identified as 25-year-old Dalonte Allen Jackson of the 200 block of Eagle Head Drive in Fort Washington.  Anyone with information in this homicide is urged to call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS.  You won't have to give your name.  A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide in Forestville.

On December 2, 2013, at about 3:00 am, patrol officers were called to the 3200 block of Walters Lane for a shooting.  When officers arrived, they found an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The preliminary investigation suggests one or more suspects shot the victim as he was standing inside the gas station.  Investigators believe the motive in this case is robbery. Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) in the case.
