The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision in Rosaryville. The victim is identified as 66-year-old Sylvia Freeman of Nacy Lee Lane in Upper Marlboro.
On January 5, 2015, at about 11:10 am, patrol officers were called to the 7300 block of South Osborne Road for a single car accident. When they arrived, they found Freeman suffering from critical injuries. She was taken to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The preliminary investigation reveals Freeman was traveling westbound on South Osborne Road when she veered off the roadway and struck a tree.
