PGPD Investigates Homicide in College Park

Updated January 1, 2015: The victim is identified as 22-year-old Stefon Donnell Powell of Addison Road in District Heights. Investigators are continuing to work to identify the suspect(s) and motive in this case. Anyone with information about this homicide is urged to call 1-866-411-TIPS.

The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide in College Park.  A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case. 

On January 1, 2015, at about 2:30 am, patrol officers were called to the 9600 block of Milestone Way for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a man in a parking garage, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and motive in this case.

The victim’s name will be released once the family is notified.
