PGPD Releases Photo of Attempted Bank Robbery Suspect

 
The Prince George’s County Police Department is seeking the community’s help in identifying this suspect. He’s wanted for an attempted armed bank robbery in Lanham.

On May 27, 2015, at about 4:15 pm, patrol officers were called to the 9300 block of Lanham Severn Road for an attempted armed robbery. The investigation reveals the suspect demanded cash from a teller. Ultimately, he walked out of the bank without any money. He fled in the direction of Carter Avenue.

The suspect is described as an African American man between 40-50 years old, approximately 5’ 8”, and 180 pounds. He was wearing a gray polo shirt and blue jeans.
