Homicide Detectives Release Surveillance Video of Person of Interest

Homicide Unit detectives today released surveillance video of a man they’d like to talk to in connection with a recent homicide.

He was pronounced dead on the scene.

On the video, the person of interest is seen walking into a convenience store on South Dakota Avenue in the District. This video was recorded approximately 15 minutes after the fatal shooting.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random act.
