PGPD Investigating Fatal Shooting in the Town of Bladensburg

Detectives with our Homicide Unit are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Saturday in the Town of Bladensburg. The victim is 33-year-old Christian Artiga of Alexandria, Virginia.

 

On May 15, 2021, at approximately 3:10 am, officers responded to a shooting in a parking lot in the 5600 block of Annapolis Road in the Town of Bladensburg. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

 

Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify the suspect(s) in this case.

 

The Prince George’s County Police Department investigates all homicides in the Town of Bladensburg.

PGPD Investiga Mortal Tiroteo en Poblado de Bladensburg

Detectives de nuestra Unidad de Homicidios investigan un mortal tiroteo que se registró el sábado en el poblado de Bladensburg. La víctima fue identificada como Christian Artiga, de 33 años de edad y vecino de Alexandria, Virginia.

El 15 de mayo de 2021, a eso de las 3:10 am, un grupo de oficiales acudió a la cuadra 5600 de Annapolis Road en el área de Bladensburg tras recibir información sobre un tiroteo. Los oficiales hallaron a Artiga con múltiples heridas de bala en las afueras del área. A este le declararon muerto en la escena. Los detectives buscan determinar cuál fue el motivo e identificar al sospechoso(s) en este caso.
