PGPD Investigating Fatal Shooting

Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Friday evening. The victim is 34-year-old Terrell Hightower of Temple Hills. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On August 9, 2024, at approximately 6:35 pm, officers responded to a shooting in the 4700 block of Pard Road in the unincorporated section of Capitol Heights. Officers located the victim inside of a home suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
 
Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s).
