The Homicide Unit is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying the suspect wanted for a homicide that occurred in August of 2023. The suspect is wanted for the murder of 33-year-old Chuck Deonte Jenkins of no fixed address. In the video, the suspect is seen walking towards the location of the incident. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the individual responsible for this case.
On August 27, 2023, at approximately 3:30 am, officers responded to the 5100 block of Indian Head Highway for a welfare check. The decedent was located outside suffering from trauma and pronounced deceased on the scene. Detectives are working to determine a motive for the murder.
