PGPD Investigating Fatal Collision in Fort Washington

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal crash that occurred late Sunday evening. The decedent’s identity will be released once the next of kin has been notified.

 On August 24, 2025, officers responded to a single-vehicle collision in the area of Forte Foote Road and Oxon Hill Road in Fort Washington, which had occurred at approximately 11:25 pm.


 The preliminary investigation indicates the driver was traveling on Oxon Hill Road when, for reasons still under investigation, the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree. The deceased died at the scene.
