The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Thursday morning. The victim, an adult male, will be identified once his family has been located and notified.
On October 29, 2026, at approximately 5:15 am, officers responded to a shooting in the 1700 block of Belle Haven Drive. Officers located the victim in the roadway suffering from a gunshot wound(s). He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are working to establish a suspect(s) and motive in this case.
