Homicide Unit detectives are actively searching for the suspect who shot and killed a teenager in Oxon Hill on Thursday. The victim is 17-year-old Jayquan Holloway of Southview Drive in Oxon Hill. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On March 2nd, at about 2:50 pm, officers responded to the 1400 block of Iverson Street for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found the victim outside of an apartment building suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The suspect may be driving a light-colored SUV. Detectives are working to identify the motive in this case.

The Prince George's County Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Baltimore Field Office are actively working to find the man in this surveillance photo. He's wanted for breaking into and stealing items from the United States Army Career Center in the 5400 block of St. Barnabas Road in Oxon Hill. This crime took place this morning shortly before 4:00 am.
The investigation reveals the man stole a black, government-owned 2015 Hyundai Elantra. The car has government tags #G137282N. The suspect also stole a US Army dress uniform and other additional uniform items. There is the possibility this suspect is armed. The investigation reveals the suspect may be headed to Fairfax County.

A Temple Hills man is facing charges after threatening a Prince George’s County Police Officer with a knife. The suspect is 29-year-old Anton Ferrell of the 6500 block of Beechwood Drive. He’s charged with attempted first degree murder, attempted second degree murder and related assault charges.
On February 28th, at about 6:15 pm, officers were dispatched to the suspect’s home for the report of a domestic dispute. The preliminary investigation reveals the 911 caller, the suspect’s mother, indicated her son threatened to harm her inside of the home. When the first officer arrived, the mother exited the home and warned the officer her son threatened to stab any officer who came to the home. The suspect then also exited the home armed with the pictured knife and walked toward the officer. Witnesses report hearing the officer tell the suspect multiple times to drop the weapon. When the suspect refused to obey the officer’s verbal commands, the officer discharged his duty weapon. The suspect was struck once in the leg. Preliminarily, his injuries are not considered life-threatening. The involved officer and the suspect’s mother were not hurt. The suspect remains hospitalized and is being held on a no-bond status.
The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division and Internal Affairs Division are investigating this incident. The involved officer is Corporal Ervin Neal. He’s a 12-year veteran and is assigned to the Bureau of Patrol. He’s on routine administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
We’re starting Wanted Wednesday this week with our active search for this bank robbery suspect. On February 24th, at about 3:40 pm, this suspect robbed a bank in Bladensburg. Suspects Target Convenience Stores
These two masked suspects are wanted for at least three recent robberies at convenience stores. They most recently targeted a store
in the 3000 block of Forestville Road around 12:30 am on Tuesday. Detectives have also linked them to a similar robbery in the 700 block of Harry Truman Drive on February 23rd and one in the 6000 block of Allentown Road on February 21st. Surveillance Video of Armed Robbery
Please take a moment to watch this surveillance video of an armed robbery at a restaurant in the 4800 block of Silver Hill Road. This happened on February 19th at about 8:00 pm. The suspects posed as customers and placed a food order. When one of the suspects handed the employee cash for that order, the victim was pepper sprayed in her face. A second employee was also pepper sprayed. That’s when one of the suspects jumped the counter and pulled out the cash register drawer. The suspects then ran from the business.

Drugstore Theft Suspect

Detectives are also investigating a theft at a cell phone store. Our investigation reveals the three pictured suspects broke into the store in the 4800 block of Allentown Road on February 21st shortly after midnight.
