Tracy Blue

The Prince George's County Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in finding a missing man. He is identified as 62-year-old Tracy Blue. He was last seen in the area of Shoppers Way and Healthcare Way in Largo on August 3rd, 2023.

Mr. Blue is a black male, bald, with brown eyes, 6’0”, and 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.

Suspect in Domestic-Related Homicide in Custody

Edward Gary

The suspect wanted in connection with a domestic-related fatal shooting on Saturday in the unincorporated section of Capitol Heights is in custody. The suspect is 37-year-old Edward Gary of Winnsboro, SC. He’s charged with fatally shooting 43-year-old Isaac Jenkins of Winnsboro, SC. The suspect and victim are family members. Gary is in custody in South Carolina.

On July 29, 2023, at approximately 9:20 pm, officers responded to the 8500 block of Ashwood Drive for the report of a shooting. The victim was located outside suffering from a gunshot wound(s). He was pronounced dead on the scene. A second victim, an adult female, suffered injuries not considered life-threatening. 

The preliminary investigation revealed Gary shot the victims during a dispute.

Gary is charged with first and second degree murder, attempted murder and related charges. He remains in custody in South Carolina pending extradition to Prince George’s County.

PGPD Investigating Fatal Collision

The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal crash that took place in Lanham in July. The deceased driver is 50-year-old Douglas Roeser of Upper Marlboro.  

On July 2, 2023, at approximately 10:40 am, officers responded to the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway and Annapolis Road for a collision involving two cars. 

The preliminary investigation revealed Roeser’s vehicle and a second car collided at that intersection. Roeser was taken to a hospital where he died of his injuries on July 9, 2023. The Prince George’s County Police Department was notified of his death on August 1, 2023.  The second driver and a passenger in her car suffered minor injuries.

PGPD Investigating Fatal Shooting in Palmer Park

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Monday night in Palmer Park. The victim is 33-year-old Sean Hodge of Washington, DC. 

On July 31, 2023, at approximately 10:50 pm, officers responded to the 7700 block of Penbrook Place for the report of a shooting. Hodge was located outside suffering from a gunshot wound(s). He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later. A second victim, an adult male, suffered injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

Investigators are working to determine the circumstances of this shooting and identify the suspect(s).
