Once on scene, they located the victim unconscious, and another victim, an adult male, outside lying on the ground. They were both taken to the hospital. Mr. Crisantos Pop Chub died of his injuries on August 30, 2024.
The preliminary investigation reveals the suspect pushed the victim during an argument causing the victim to fall and hit his head. The second victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Pop Chub is charged with second-degree murder and additional charges. The suspect is in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.
