9/11 Security Threat Statement

Prince George's County, Maryland… The Prince George’s County Police has been in the planning and preparations stage for the 9/11 anniversary for weeks. We have allocated what we deem to be appropriate resources, to include added manpower and equipment. Some of that equipment is available to the media at 11 this morning. Our command bus and marine unit vessels are part of our overall security package.  Our command staff can elaborate on these tools at our news conference. We are also working with state agencies to ensure we protect the citizens of Prince George's County, not only this weekend, but at all times.
