Wanted Wednesday


Police Impersonator Investigation
(Not Actual Car)

We’re beginning Wanted Wednesday this week with an active investigation into a police impersonator. The suspect drove a car similar to the one in this photo. On November 8th, at about 8:00 am, our investigation reveals the suspect pulled over a victim in the 8000 block of Temple Hills Road in Temple Hills. The suspect’s car had red and blue dash lights. When the victim pulled over, the suspect pulled him out of his car, assaulted him and took his wallet. The suspect is described as a white male, about 5’9” and 190 pounds. He had short hair and a short beard at the time. He had on a blue jacket with patch stickers on each sleeve, blue pants and silver chain with some sort of badge attached to it. This is the only reported incident involving this suspect this year. Anyone with information is urged to call 1-866-411-TIPS. You will not have to give your name.

Bank Robbery

Our Robbery Unit detectives are actively working to find and arrest these two suspects. They’re wanted for a bank robbery in the 4600 block of Old Branch Avenue in Temple Hills. They targeted the bank on November 7th just before 1:30 pm. The investigation reveals the suspects were both armed with guns during the robbery. Attempted Carjacking Investigation

Our detectives with the Regional Investigation Division – Central Region are working to identify the suspects seen walking in this video. They’re wanted in connection with an attempted carjacking on Suitland Road in Suitland. The victim suffered minor injuries during the attempted carjacking on October 2nd.  Please call 301-772-4425 or 1-866-411-TIPS with any information on this incident.

Robbery Investigation

Robbery detectives are also hoping to speak with any one of these four women about a robbery at a home in Upper Marlboro. On October 11th at about 1:45 am, our investigation reveals that two men broke into a home on Halifax Place and stole items. Please call 301-772-4905 with any information on this case.

Convenience Store Robbery

These two robbery suspects targeted a convenience store in Capitol Heights on November 6th at about 1:30 am. The investigation reveals they robbed the store in the 7400 block of Central Avenue. Shooting Investigation

Our detectives with the Regional Investigation Division – Southern Region are working to find and arrest the suspect in these two photos. He’s wanted in connection with a shooting and attempted carjacking in the 8500 block of Oxon Hill Road in Fort Washington on November 5th at about 1:30 am. Our investigation reveals the suspect attempted to carjack a victim. The victim was shot during the crime. He was critically hurt. Please call 301-749-5064 or 1-866-411-TIPS with any information.

Commercial Breaking & Entering

This suspect is wanted for breaking into a restaurant in the 6500 block of New Hampshire Avenue on October 26th just before 1:00 am. Once inside, he stole cash.
