Detectives Release Images of Suspect Linked to Six Robberies



Robbery Unit detectives are working to identify and arrest the man who is linked to six robberies in the past week in the county. In each case, the suspect stole money and cigarettes. A cash reward is being offered for information in this investigation. Here is a list of businesses he targeted:

·        7-Eleven: December 21st, around 2:00 am, in the 7700 block of Finns Lane in Lanham

·        7-Eleven: December 21st, around 2:45 am, in the 7400 block of Laurel Bowie Road in Bowie

·        Dunkin’ Donuts: December 21st, around 9:40 pm, in the 4700 block of Allentown Road in Morningside

·        7-Eleven: December 23rd, around 2:20 am in the 10500 block of Baltimore Avenue in Beltsville

·        7-Eleven: December 24th, around 4:00 am, in the 3400 block of Dallas Drive in Temple Hills

·        7-Eleven: December 28th, around 2:15 am, in the 9800 block of Piscataway Road in Clinton

Please take a close look at the suspect. He’s described as an African American male, approximately 18-24 years old, 5’6” and around 130 pounds. He is known to wear black Adidas pants and use a black revolver style handgun during these robberies. No one was hurt in any of these cases.

Detectives also believe this suspect is driving a silver, newer-model Chrysler 300, similar to the one in this photo.

There were additional robberies in neighboring jurisdictions during this same time period that are preliminarily linked to the same suspect.
