The Homicide Unit released video of a person of interest in connection with a murder Tuesday in Suitland. Detectives would like to speak to the male seen in the video in reference to the fatal shooting of 27-year-old Keith Daniel Bennett of Suitland.
On June 13, 2023, at
approximately 12:35 pm, officers responded to the 4500 block of Silver Hill
Road for a shooting. Officers located Bennett outside suffering from gunshot
wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
In the video, the person of
interest is seen walking on Parkway Terrace Drive. A short time later,
the same male is seeing running back down Parkway Terrace Drive in
the opposite direction.

A reward of up to $25,000 is
being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this
case.
