The Prince George’s County Police Department Homicide Unit identified and charged two men in connection with a homicide on Friday. The suspects are 34-year-old Otoniel Morales and 19-year-old Edwin Roque Alarcon, both of Seat Pleasant. The victim, in this case, is 29-year-old Mynor Galvez Juarez of Hyattsville

On June 16, 2023, at approximately 11:40 pm, officers responded to the 900 block of Addison Road South to check on the welfare of an unresponsive man on the side of the roadway. Once on scene, officers located the victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

During the investigation, detectives developed Morales and Roque Alarcon as suspects and determined the murder occurred in the 6600 block of Greig Street in Seat Pleasant. The preliminary investigation revealed the victim and Morales were involved in a dispute prior to the murder.
