Homicide Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances of a murder in Riverdale. The victim is 58-year-old Adeyemi Martin of New Carrollton. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On April 11, 2025, at approximately 10:05 am, officers responded to the 6600 block of Riverdale Road for the report of an unresponsive person. Once on scene, officers located the victim inside of a stairwell suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s).
