The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred in October of 2024 in Temple Hills. The deceased pedestrian is 41-year-old Kelvin Eugene Jackson of Washington, D.C.
On October 24, 2024, at approximately 11:00 pm, officers responded to the 3100 block of Branch for a struck pedestrian. Jackson was located in the roadway and was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died on January 11, 2026.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was attempting to cross Branch Avenue when, for reasons now under investigation, he was struck by a vehicle traveling northbound towards Suitland Parkway. The driver, who was not injured, remained on scene.
