PGPD Investigating Fatal Shooting in Temple Hills

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting at a park in Temple Hills. The victim is 38-year-old Juanita Frazier of Washington, DC. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.


On April 28, 2026, at approximately 10:15 pm, officers with Maryland-National Capital Park Police - Prince George’s County Division and the PGPD responded to Oxon Run Community Park for the report of an unresponsive woman. The victim, Frazier, was located in a parking lot suffering from a gunshot(s) wound. She died at the scene.

 

PGPD Homicide Unit detectives are actively working to identify a suspect(s) and determine a motive.  

 

The Prince George’s County Police Department investigates all homicides that occur in the jurisdiction of Maryland-National Capital Park Police - Prince George’s County Division.
