Detectives Investigate Double Homicide in Hyattsville

The Homicide Unit is investigating a double homicide in Hyattsville.  The victims are 27-year-old Jesus Pacheco-Santos of no fixed address and 22-year-old Roberto Jimenez-Gonzalez also of no fixed address. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment. 

On June 10th, at about 8:30 pm, patrol officers were called to the 2100 block of Guilford Road for a welfare check. They found the victims outside suffering from trauma. They were pronounced dead on the scene. 

Detectives are working to identify a motive and suspect(s).

Detectives Arrest Two Brothers in Upper Marlboro Homicide

The Homicide Unit arrested two brothers in connection with the homicide of an Upper Marlboro man earlier today. The suspects are 39-year-old Dicarlo Dickerson of the 2100 block of Briarwood Drive in Waldorf and 47-year-old Shawn Dickerson of the 700 block of Castlewood Place in Upper Marlboro.

At about 1:45 am on June 9th, patrol officers were called to the 700 block of Castlewood Place for a welfare check. When they arrived, officers found the victim, 39-year-old Jabari Jones of New Orchard Place in Upper Marlboro, suffering from trauma to the body. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The preliminary investigation reveals the suspects were involved in a physical confrontation with the victim. The suspects and victim were friends. Dicarlo Dickerson is charged with first and second degree murder. Shawn Dickerson is charged with second degree murder.

Detectives Release Photos of Sexual Assault Suspect

UPDATE: Detectives release surveillance video of the suspect wanted for sexually assaulting a woman.

Detectives with our Sexual Assault Unit are asking for our community’s help to find this suspect who is wanted for the sexual assault of a woman this morning. The assault took place shortly before 6:45 am in the 4000 block of Garden City Drive in Landover. The suspect attacked the woman inside of a business. The suspect and victim did not know each other. Preliminarily, detectives believe the suspect followed the victim from the New Carrollton Metro Station. Metro Transit Police are assisting in the investigation to identify the suspect.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 20 years old, 5’11’ with a thin build. He wore a red jacket with a plus sign or cross on the back and on the sleeves.

PGPD Searches for Missing Teen

Rikaya Walker

The Prince George’s County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in searching for a teen. She is 14-year-old Rikaya Walker of Temple Hills. 

Walker was last seen in the 4900 block of Brinkley Road on June 7, 2016, at about 3:40 pm.

Walker is 4’9”, 125 pounds. She was last seen wearing khaki pants, a red polo shirt, a blue jean jacket and red Chuck Taylor shoes.
