Detectives Arrest Three Suspects in Langley Park Homicide

Jesus Urquilla-Guevara      Luis Sical            Gilmer Sical-Dubon

The Homicide Unit arrested three suspects in connection with a homicide in Langley Park in March. The suspects are 43-year-old Jesus
Urquilla-Guevara of the 8400 block of 15th Avenue in Langley Park, 32-year-old Luis Sical of the 8000 block of 15th Avenue, and 23-year-old Gilmer Sical-Dubon of the 1000 block of Quebec Terrace. They are charged with the fatal stabbing of 29-year-old Enrique Jacinto Miguel of 14th Avenue in Langley Park.

On March 31st, shortly before 3:00 pm, patrol officers responded to the 1400 block of University Boulevard for a welfare check. When they arrived, officers found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

During the course of the investigation, detectives identified the three suspects. The preliminary investigation reveals the fatal stabbing stemmed from an earlier altercation between Sical and the victim. Urquilla-Guevara had admitted his involvement in the homicide. All three suspects are charged with first and second degree murder and related charges. They are in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.
