PGPD & MPD Investigating Sexual Assault and Abduction

Detectives with the Prince George’s County Police Department and the Metropolitan Police Department are conducting a joint investigation into a sexual assault and abduction that occurred early Monday morning. The victim was abducted in Temple Hills and later dropped off in the District of Columbia.

The preliminary investigation reveals the victim was walking home from the Naylor Road Metro Station at approximately 12:05 am. As she walked on Curtis Drive near Branch Avenue, she was approached by two suspects who forced her into their car at gunpoint. They then drove away with the victim. The victim was sexually assaulted by both suspects. Approximately 45 minutes later, the suspects forced the victim out of the car near Ridge Place in Southeast DC. She ran to a nearby home where she was able to call police. The victim did not know the suspects.

One of the suspects is pictured here. The image was taken by a surveillance camera at a bank. This suspect is described as an African American male, approximately 6 feet tall. He wore a black coat and black pants. The second suspect is described as an African American male, approximately 5’8”-5’10”. He wore a red Helly Hansen jacket. Both suspects are estimated to be between 18-23 years old. The suspects drove a dark-colored, four-door, older-model sedan.
