Landover Homicide Under Investigation

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Friday evening in Landover. The victim is 34-year-old Anthony Forest of Washington, DC.

On October 22, 2021, at approximately 5:40 pm, officers responded to the 1900 block of Belle Haven Drive for a reported shooting. Once on scene, officers located Forest in a parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later.  

Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify the suspect(s) in this case.

Bajo Investigación Homicidio en Landover

La Unidad de Homicidios del Departamento de la Policía del Condado de Prince George’s investiga un mortal tiroteo que ocurrió el viernes en la tarde en Landover. La víctima fue identificada como Anthony Forest, de 34 años y vecino de Washington DC.

El 22 de octubre de 2021, a eso de las 5:40 pm, oficiales de patrulla acudieron a la cuadra 1900 de Belle Haven Drive tras recibir información sobre un tiroteo. Al llegar a la escena, los oficiales hallaron a Forest con múltiples heridas de bala, en un lote de estacionamientos. A este le trasladaron a un hospital en donde murió poco tiempo después.

Nuestros detectives buscan determinar cuál fue el motivo e identificar a un sospechoso en este caso.
