The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit arrested and charged a suspect in connection with a domestic-related fatal stabbing Sunday evening. The suspect is 27-year-old Marcel Stewart of Suitland. He is charged with fatally stabbing his mother, 58-year-old Andrea Jennings of Suitland. They lived together in the same home.
On October 3, 2021, at approximately 5:20 pm, officers responded
to the family’s home in the 3000 block of Navy Day Drive. The victim was
located suffering from multiple stab wounds and pronounced dead on the
scene.
The preliminary investigation revealed Stewart stabbed the victim during a dispute. Stewart was taken in for questioning from the scene and subsequently charged with first and second degree murder and additional charges. He is in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.

Detectives Acusan a Sospechoso en Homicidio de
Naturaleza Doméstica en Suitland
La Unidad de Homicidios del Departamento de la Policía del Condado de Prince George’s acusó a un sospechoso en conexión a un mortal apuñalamiento de naturaleza doméstica que se produjo el domingo en la tarde. El sospechoso fue identificado como Marcel Stewart, de 27 años de edad y vecino de Suitland.
