Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Wednesday night. The victim is 29-year-old Davon Brooks of Camp Springs. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On March 6, 2024, at approximately 8:45 pm, officers responded
to the 3700 block of Donnell Drive for the report of a shooting. Officers located
Brooks in the stairwell suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead
on the scene. A second adult male was located suffering from a gunshot
wound. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and
identify a suspect(s).
