The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision in Lanham. The deceased rider is 38-year-old Daniel Sanchez-Ramirez of Lanham.
On April 8, 2024, at approximately 1:20 pm, patrol officers were called to the area of Cipriano Road and Hickory Hill Avenue for a collision.
The preliminary investigation reveals Sanchez-Ramirez and the driver of an SUV collided head-on on Cipriano Road. Sanchez-Ramirez was taken to a hospital where he died of his injuries on April 10, 2024. The involved driver remained on the scene.
