PGPD Investigates Fatal Shooting in Upper Marlboro

The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating an early morning fatal shooting in Upper Marlboro. The decedent is 30-year-old Craig Ivan Corbin, Jr. of the 3300 block of Dorithan Road in Baltimore.

At about 2:40 am, a man called 911 to report he had just shot someone who was breaking into his home. When patrol officers arrived, they found Corbin outside suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The preliminary investigation reveals the decedent had been shot while trying to climb into a window. The resident and the decedent had a prior romantic relationship. Our investigators are working closely with the State’s Attorney Office, which will ultimately make a determination whether charges are filed in this case.

PGPD Releases Photos of Bank Robbery Suspects

                        

              

  

The Prince George’s County Police Department is seeking the community’s help in identifying these two men. They're wanted for robbing a bank today in Camp Springs.

On July 1, 2015, at about 1:15 pm, patrol officers were called to the 6400 block of Allentown Road for the report of a bank robbery. The investigation reveals the two suspects approached a teller and demanded cash. Once they got money, they ran from the bank. No one was hurt.

Theft From Car at Cemetery

Criminals will strike just about anywhere – even at what should be considered sacred ground. In our first case, we’re searching for the cold-hearted suspect who stole from someone visiting a gravesite. This happened around 1:00 pm on June 18^th at the George Washington Cemetery on Riggs Road in Adelphi. A couple was at the cemetery visiting a gravesite and were away from their car for only about 15 minutes. During that time, someone opened up their car door and stole a purse from inside. Later that day, the suspect in these surveillance photos used one of the stolen credit cards at a store in the 3500 block of East West Highway in Hyattsville. Search for Driver Who Killed Bicyclist

Our Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit wants to speak with anyone who witnessed or has information on a fatal hit-and-run in Capitol Heights last Friday night. The victim was on her bicycle. She's 56-year-old Donna Holliday Clark of Ritchboro Road in Forestville. Preliminarily, it appears Clark was heading southbound on Ritchie Road when a car struck her from behind. That car is described as a black or dark-colored car, possibly a Dodge Charger. Investigators believe it will now have minor front end damage. They are looking into whether the striking car was possibly racing with a second car. Anyone with information on this hit-and-run is asked to call (301) 731-4422. Stolen Credit Card

Our Robbery Unit would like to identify these three suspects seen in these convenience store surveillance photos. The pictures were taken shortly after midnight on June 19^th. Our investigation reveals they used a credit card stolen in a robbery about 30 minutes earlier. In that case, two women robbed a victim of his personal belongings in the 6100 block of Oxon Hill Road. Attempted Robbery at Cell Phone Store

Our Robbery Unit is also looking for these two masked suspects. They’re wanted for trying to rob a cell phone store. The two men targeted a store in the 11000 block of Baltimore Avenue on June 27^th at about 5:50 pm. The suspects demanded cash from the employees but ran out empty handed. PGPD Searches for Missing Teen

Oludumare Ayodeji

The Prince George’s County Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in searching for a missing teen. He is identified as 16-year-old Oludumare Obasuie Ayodeji.

Ayodeji was last seen in the 1900 block of Altamonte Avenue in Forestville on June 30, 2015 at about 7:00 am.

Ayodeji is described as a black male, 16 years of age, 5’10” and 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Ayodeji was last seen wearing a black and blue shirt and tan pants.
