PGPD Charges Suspect in Triple Shooting in Clinton

Updated January 27, 2015:  One of the victims has been released from the hospital. The second victim remains hospitalized in critical condition. Dunmore is now out of the hospital and in custody of the Department of Corrections where he is being held on a no bond status.

The Prince George’s County Police Department charged a teenager for shooting two other teens inside his Clinton home. The suspect is 16-year-old Delano Dunmore of the 7900 block of Clendinnen Drive. He’s charged as an adult in this case. He faces two counts of attempted first degree murder, two counts of attempted second degree murder and assault charges.

On January 25, 2015, at about 3:50 pm, patrol officers were called to the 7900 block of Clendinnen Drive for a shooting. When they arrived, patrol officers found three teenage males suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims was critically hurt. A second victim suffered non-life threatening injuries. The victims are 16 and 17 years old. The preliminary investigation reveals Dunmore shot the two teens and then shot himself. His injuries are non-life threatening.

The investigation suggests an argument between the teens escalated into the shootings. Dunmore is in custody at a hospital and is being held on a no bond status.
