PGPD to Canvass College Park Neighborhood in Murder Investigation


The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit will canvass the College Park neighborhood this evening where a man was shot and killed last week.
 
On January 1, 2015, patrol officers were called to the 9600 block of Milestone Way for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found 22-year-old Stefon Powell in a parking garage suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
 
Detectives will pass out Crime Solvers flyers seeking information in this investigation. The canvass is scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered in this case.
