PGPD Investigates Homicide in Suitland


The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide in Suitland. The victim is 20-year-old Jamal Allen of Regency Parkway in Suitland. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case.


On January 11, 2015, at about 5:35 pm, patrol officers were called to the 2700 block of Sweetwater Court for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found Allen inside of a car suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
 

Based on the preliminary investigation, detectives do not believe this was a random act. Investigators are working to identify the suspect(s) in this case.
