PGPD Investigates Fatal Pedestrian Collision in Landover

Updated January 26, 2015: The victim is 53-year-old Adjoko Lassey of Normandy Road in Landover.  Anyone with information on this collision is asked to please call our investigators at 301-731-4422.

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal pedestrian collision in Landover.

On January 23, 2015, at about 6:00 am, patrol officers were called to the intersection of Landover Road and Matthew Henson Avenue for the report of a pedestrian collision. When they arrived, they found a woman in the roadway suffering from critical injuries. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

The preliminary investigation reveals the victim was crossing Landover Road when she was hit by a car. The victim was not in a crosswalk at the time.
The driver stayed on the scene.

The victim’s name will be released when her family has been notified.
