Police Investigate Homicide on John Paul Jones Avenue

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the homicide of Marquis Emmanuel Davis, 16, yesterday evening in Fort Washington, Maryland.


On June 10, 2011 at approximately 11:05 p.m., Patrol Officers responded to the 11100 block of John Paul Jones Avenue for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, Patrol Officers found Davis, of the 5300 block of E. Boniwood Turn in Clinton, suffering from trauma to his body. He was pronounced deceased on scene.

Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and establish a motive in this case. The investigation is ongoing.
