PGPD Investigating Suspicious Behavior Near Bus Stop in City of District Heights

Prince George's County Police detectives are investigating the report of suspicious behavior near a bus stop this afternoon in the city of District Heights.

At approximately 2:05 pm, a young girl was walking on Senator Avenue after being dropped off at a nearby school bus stop. The bus stop is in the area of Mason Street and Kipling Parkway.  The girl tells detectives that two men in a brown or tan SUV or van pulled up next to her and one of the men told her to get into their vehicle. The little girl ran off and sought help at a nearby home. The men did not touch or grab the girl. The District Heights Police Department then alerted the PGPD of this incident. At this time, there are no additional reports of this kind in that area.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have seen this vehicle or has information that could assist in their investigation to call 301-772-4910.
