The
Homicide Unit is actively working to identify and arrest the suspect(s) who
shot and killed a man early Sunday morning in Kettering. The victim is
22-year-old Marcelle Preston of Kylie Place. Preliminarily, detectives do not
believe this was a random crime.
On
April 21st, at approximately 12:20 am, patrol officers responded to the 100
block of Kylie Place for the report of a shooting. They located the victim
outside of his home suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on
the scene.
Detectives
are working to identify the suspect(s) and determine a motive.
