Detectives with our Homicide Unit are investigating a fatal shooting in Beltsville on Tuesday evening. The victim is 27-year-old Antoine Dorsey of Greenbelt. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On July 5, 2022, at approximately 9:00 pm, patrol officers were called to the area of Beaver Dam Road and Biocontrol Road for a report of a shooting. Once on scene, officers located the victim in the roadway suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital where he died hours later.
Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and a motive.
