The medical examiner reported some of the injuries were inconsistent with an accident. Pending additional testing, the medical examiner will determine the specific cause of death. The preliminary investigation determined Harrison had sole care and custody of his son at the time the fatal injuries occurred.
In consultation with the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office, Harrison is charged with first degree child abuse resulting in death and related offenses. He was transported to the Department of Corrections.
