PGPD Investigating Fatal Collision in Beltsville

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal three-vehicle collision that occurred in Beltsville on Friday. The deceased driver of one of the involved vehicles is 41-year-old Tamecka Allen of Springfield, VA.

On June 21, 2024, at approximately 2:40 pm, officers responded to a collision near the intersection of Old Gunpowder Road and Sinope Way. Allen was pronounced dead on scene. The injuries sustained by two of the involved drivers and other passengers are not considered life-threatening.

The preliminary investigation revealed the collision occurred in the northbound lanes of Old Gunpowder Road. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

PGPD Investiga Colisión Fatal en Beltsville

La Unidad de Análisis y Reconstrucción de Colisiones del Departamento de Policía del Condado Prince George’s está investigando una colisión fatal de tres vehículos que ocurrió en Beltsville el viernes. El conductor fallecido de uno de los vehículos involucrados es Tamecka Allen, de 41 años, de Springfield, VA.
