PGPD Arrests Suspect Responsible for Three Burglaries in College Park

Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department’s District I Investigative Section has arrested Aljarreau Edward Bolden, 26, of the 6600 block of 24th Avenue in Hyattsville, Maryland, in connection with three
homes that were burglarized in College Park.

Bolden turned himself in on September 17, 2011, without incident and is being charged with three counts of 1st degree burglary, one count of 3rd degree burglary, three counts of 4th degree burglary, and theft under $10,000. He is currently remanded to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections and is being held on a no-bond status.

Investigators learned that Bolden burglarized a home on August 15 in the 4900 block of Niagara Road and two homes on September 7 in the 9200 block of Limestone Place and the 9400 block of 52nd Avenue. He then pawned some of the property to a jewelry store in Arundel Mills Mall. A photo of the suspect is attached.
