Prince George’s County Maryland… The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a homicide in Fort Washington, Maryland.
On September 16, 2011, at approximately 10:37 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 10900 block of Indian Head Highway for a welfare check. Upon their arrival, they discovered 45 year-old Graham Edmondson Hayes II, of the 7200 block of Purple Avens Avenue, and 47 year-old John Jay Bromwich, of the 10900 block of Indian Head Highway suffering from gunshot wounds. Hayes and Bromwich were both pronounced dead on the scene. Hayes was shot by Bromwich who then took his own life. Investigation has revealed that the two men worked together at the location of incident.
Detectives are working to establish a motive in this case. This investigation is ongoing.
